I feel it in the way people are looking for connection these days. With each other and the brands they support. That’s the new expectation. Gone are the days where brands and consumers had an informal relationship. It’s more personal these days. Warmer. More human. Connected to values. Social outreach. I like it.
This new approach is what I like to refer to as Doing Well By Doing Good. It’s when companies make a meaningful and positive impact in the lives of their customers while also improving their bottom lines. When that happens it’s the ultimate win-win.
I am regularly asked to speak about this movement – and I do consider it a movement – across the country. I speak from my experience leading Deluxe’s “Small Business Revolution – Main Street” program, in which we provide a half-million revitalization to one town a year, as well as my personal convictions that people and companies from all walks of life can find success simultaneously. I love sharing my philosophy and bringing what I call brand action to life. Nothing inspires me more than the fortitude and generous spirit of our country’s small business owners.
I’m so excited to be speaking to so many great organizations this month. Below is a list of where I’ll be. Come say hello. The world would be a better place if we all just stopped and said hello.
I look forward to seeing you out there!
